EXTREME 2
EXTREME 2 is the new hybrid round baler with variable chamber and variable geometry that combines the winning characteristics of both fixed and variable chamber round balers. The machine has been designed to guarantee the greatest combination of shapes, pressures (up to 210 bar) and bale sizes up to 180 cm. EXTREME 2 offers a perfect balance between high performance and maximum ease of use, which makes it suitable for all types of farms.

Variable chamber and geometry
The geometry management within the variable chamber is made possible by a double rocker arm controlled by hydraulic cylinders. The first defines the pressure and the diameter of the bale with the possibility of creating a pre-chamber with zero pressure up to 1,1 m, while the second rocker automatically compensates the tension of the four clinched belts of width 277 mm during the formation of the bale. This allows to obtain enormous advantages for those who are attentive to the product quality.
Pick-up
The large 2,2 m pick-up with pivoting wheels allows to operate even in the presence of not perfectly regular and abundant windrows. Harvest of the product is delicate with any type of forage, even in the case of leafy product. The machine can be equipped with a windrow press roller.
Feeding systems
EXTREME series 2 series is polyvalent, in fact there are 4 feeding systems that can be requested: HTI with alternative feeder, HTR rotary feeder without cutting, HTC rotary feeder with 13 knives and HTU rotary feeder with 25 knives. The stars of all rotors are made of high strength steel to minimise wear during work.
New electronic ISOTRONIC
EXTREME 2 ISOTRONIC is the latest generation version, updated with ISOBUS communication protocol. All the working parameters can be managed directly in a simple and intuitive way from the ISOBUS terminal in the tractor. The winning pre-chamber concept
Being able to keep the balance in an elevated position and create the pre-chamber provides enormous advantages.
The low pressure in the middle part of the bale allows excess moisture to escape, helping to disperse heat in the event of fermentation.
The pre-chamber enhances the quality of the product and provides enormous advantages:
- Versatility in managing the type of product, even according to the level of humidity;
- Optimal conservation of nutritional and protein qualities;
- Efficient evaporation of humidity;
- Limited formation of mold and abnormal fermentation.
Drop floor
To increase productivity on field and reduce possible downtime, EXTREME 2 and EXTREME 3 have been designed with a new drop floor. This system, which temporarily increases the size of the machine’s inlet, allows to quickly solve any blockages due to product excess, facilitating the work of the operator, who can manage and solve the problem from tractor cab.
Crop roller
The crop roller has the function of maintaining a homogeneous and constant flow of product towards the feeding system, reducing possible clogging.
Blades safety
Each blade is independent and equipped with a spring safety system which intervenes during the collision with foreign material, mainly stones, without damaging the cutting system (HTC -HTU version).
Automatic oiling
Automatic chain lubrication is managed by an oil pump that is mechanically activated every time the tailgate closes.
Automatic greasing
With the automatic centralized lubrication system, maintenance times are reduced considerably, boosting work efficiency and reducing breakages, ensuring the machine is always perfectly greased.
